North slope of Butano Ridge. Example of the best of the remaining virgin Redwood in San Mateo County. Diameter range from 3 to 7 feet. Tallest trees about 300 ft. high. Tanbark oak, Vaccinium ovatum and sword fern. Douglas fir in adjacent areas.
