Title
Interior view of second growth redwood-Douglas fir type shown in # 237802. Dense fully stocked stands such as these follow the cutting of virgin Redwood-Douglas fir type where fire is not employed in logging. Note absence of hardwoods. Contrast with #237780 to 237784 where woodland and brush types followed logging of redwood-Douglas fir type because of fires during and subsequent to logging. Santa Clara County.
