Description

This vertical, rectangular poster features a graphic illustration of a person's hands and forearms positioned over a metallic, L-shaped object. Ther are dark blue sleeves and cuffs visible at the wrists of the hands. The hands are reddish-orange, and the right hand is shown with fingers curled as if to grasp the top of the metal object, while the left hand is positioned lower. The metal casting is silver-grey and consists of a horizontal flat section joined to a vertical cylindrical base. Red, block-letter text is placed in two sections: "HANDLE CAREFULLY" appears at the top of the poster, and "BEWARE SHARP EDGES ON CASTINGS" is at the bottom. The background is a solid, neutral tan color. Small, fine-print text at the very bottom center identifies the printing and governmental departments involved in the poster's production. To the right of the poster, a vertical color calibration strip and a small grayscale scale are visible against a white margin.
