North slope types: bigcone spruce, canyon oak; chaparral in foreground of Quercus dumosa, Cercocarpus betuloides, Ceanothus divaricatus and Quercus wislizenii, opposing south slope with Adenostoma fasciculatum pure and A. fasciculatum with Ceanothus divaricatus and Arctostaphylos glandulosa.
