Note
Full title:Prior to segregation, the residents of the Tule Lake Center like all other centers, enjoyed the freedom of the surrounding country, where they hiked and picnicked. At Tule Lake, all the surrounding hills were explored. Like other mountain climbers, they liked to leave evidence of their adventure, as here shown. The date is here repeated in Japanese characters.<lb /> Photographer: Mace, Charles E.<lb /> Newell, California.
