Full title:Toshio Furukawa, formerly of Palo Alto, California, and Granada, is employed at the Hatfield Dental Laboratories in Peoria until he can complete his last year of dental training to get his D.D.S. His mother, Mrs. Haru Furukawa, came to Peoria in February, 1944, a few months after her son. Mr. Furukawa said, I like Peoria. It is a nice, progressive city. The people here have treated my mother and me very fine, and while I enjoy the work of a dental technician, I do want to become a dentist as soon as possible.<lb /> Photographer: Iwasaki, Hikaru<lb /> Peoria, Illinois.
