Full title:Mr. Robert Hosokawa and family are shown in front of their new home at 3401 Urbandale Avenue. Mr. Hosokawa is very well pleased with his work in Des Moines and bought this home in a nice residential section only recently. Surrounding the house is about three-fourths of an acre and Mr. Hosokawa has already acquired twenty chickens and is selling eggs to his neighbors. He has a large garden plot and is about to set out some fruit trees. Mr. Hosokawa is on the editorial copy desk of the Des Moines Register and Tribune, reading copy and writing headlines. Prior to this, he was the news editor of the Inter-City News, of Independence, Missouri. He relocated from Minidoka Relocation Center directly to Independence, Mo., with his wife and, prior to this, resided in Seattle, Washington.
