Full title:Satoru Akutagawa (left) and Jiro Oishi at work in their new radio service shop, 1856 E. Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena. The boys had a hard time finding a vacant place for their business, because stores are almost as difficult to rent as houses, due to crowded conditions. They have just opened this new radio service store on the main street in Pasadena. Jiro went to Chicago first after leaving Gila River, and Satoru first relocated in Denver after leaving Topaz. Their families have not yet come back to California, due to housing shortages. No trouble at all about conditions, community acceptance or jobs--just housing, and that's a problem no matter what one's race, they say.<lb /> Photographer: Mace, Charles E.<lb /> Pasadena, California.
