Full title:Fumio Miyamoto, Japanese American evacuee from the Gila River Relocation Center in Arizona, works at a shaper in the plant of the G. & N. Manufacturing Company, Cleveland, alongside Bill Zaker, who operates a drill press. Fumio is one of eight evacuees employed at this plant, all of whom are called good workers by their foreman. An experienced operator, Fumio makes $1.10 an hour, buys war bonds every pay day, and figures he will save $50.00 a month.<lb /> Photographer: Brumbach<lb /> Cleveland, Ohio.
