46 electric washing machines were destroyed in a Christmas night 1943 blaze in Block 202, Poston Unit II. Two mangles, 29 gas stoves, 8 electric refrigerators and an electric stove also were destroyed. The buildings served as warehouses for evacuee and personnel household goods. Poston, Arizona.
