Full title:Ralph Durst and Motoziro Shoda are pinching buds on rose bushes in the Mt. Clemens Greenhouse Company, Mt. Clemens, Michigan, in order that the bushes will grow sturdier and produce healthier flowers. Mr. Shoda formerly lived in Pasadena, California, and relocated from Rohwer.
