Full title:Dr. Blair Stewart, chairman of the steering committee of the Portland Citizens Relocation Committee and Reed College professor of Economics, at a weekly luncheon business meeting at the old Heathman Hotel. The committee, which is made up of thirty prominent Portland civic leaders, is concerned with helping solve housing and employment problems of the Japanese who wish to return to the Portland area. Among those present at this meeting are Dr. Blair Stewart; Mrs. Betty Sales of the National Conference of Christians and Jews; Miss Isabel Gates, Baptist Mission Board; Dr. Nace, president of the Council of Churches, who lived in Japan for 13 years; Gus Solomon, Portland attorney; Fannie Friedman, Relocation Officer of the Portland District W.
