Trees along new highway stretch through Holbrook Grove, 2 and 1/2 miles north of Garberville. Redwood recovery study. View: Looking north from about the same point as #5860, to tree opposite #1534-5-6. This tree has had one 14"+ root cut off for the old road and one 8" for the new road. August 10, 1935. E. F.
