Title
Wind River Forest Exp. Station, Carson Wash. Looking across a recently cut plot at edge of 110 yr. old stand of Douglas fir. Timber of same age across the canyon. Light patches are trees killed by Dendroctonus Pseudotsugae. They are also losing some trees from the fungus, Poria Wieni. Metcalf. Oct. 1952.
