Title
Downhill view of eroded slope along Mt. Breckenridge road just east of bridge at south end of Olcease Ranch road, east of Bakersfield, California. Soil between gullies and down slope from auto has a scant cover of grass and weeds, such as buckwheat and brome grass. Shrubs in distance are mostly salt bush or "shadscale" (Atriplex sp.). (This slope is shown from below in photo number K-296.) Kraebel 305. 7-26-30.
