Title
A region known as "The park" locally, on lands of the Michigan-California Lumber Company in the north half of Section 16 T. 12N R. 13 E. An old brush field which is being invaded by Western Yellow pine. The pine has taken possession in large and small groups of different age classes. This view shows a thrifty forest coming up in the old fields. See also 2635 and 2636. E. Fritz, May, 1925.
