Thomas Wilcox was born on July 10, 1822 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He married Emily K. Wilcox in 1840, and died in 1913. He is buried in Rural Cemetery in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Captain Aaron C. Cushman was born in December 1808, and commanded the Ship Congaree from 1846 to 1850. He died at sea on November 22, 1856. He is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
