Corbin mined in Mariposa Creek, Mormon Bar, Agua Fria and Guadeloupe as well as other camp, keeping track of gold found and the expenses of mining. Includes descriptions of encounters with other miners including Mexicans and with California Indians. Diary included 4 gold nuggets attached to pins.
