Granted (1) by Alvarado Dec. 20, 1839, and (2) by Pico June 8, 1846, to Francisco Sepulveda; about 7 leagues, by name. Claim filed by Francisco Sepulveda Nov. 5, 1852. Confirmed by the Board Apl. 25, 1854. Confirmed by the District Court Feb. 21, 1857. Patent issued to Ramon Sepulveda July 23, 1881, for 30,259.65 acres. The patent is recorded in los Angeles. No. 432 General Land Office map. This grant was also called Potrero de Santa Monica; also Santa Monica was written Santa Hermonica. Jimeno and Martnell in their index used the number 357 twice: for this grant and for 841, Tresaguas de Agua, 285 SD. In the "Complete Expedientes" in the National Archives in a diseño of San Vicente in the 357 folder which contain the Tres Ojos de Agua papers. Bowman, J.N.
