Patent issued to Jonathan D. Stevenson Oct. 8, 1872, for 8,858.83 acres. The patent is recorded in Martinez, Contra Costa County, No. 111 General Land Office map. This grant was also called Stevenson's Rancho. Sometimes it has been called Meganos, Pulpune, or Mt. Diablo, but nothing in the papers indicate these names. Bowman, J.N.
