Stevenson, Michael Murphy, James Welch, and Ellen Fallon Feb. 20, 1853. Confirmed by the Board June 19, 1855. Confirmed by the District Court Oct. 16, 1856, and Nov. 23, 1869. Patent issued to Jonathan D. Stevenson Oct. 8, 1872, for 8,858.83 acres. The patent is recorded in Martinez, Contra Costa County, No. 111 General Land Office map. This grant was also called Stevenson's Rancho. Sometimes it has been called Meganos, Pulpune, or Mt. Diablo, but nothing in the papers indicate these names. Bowman, J.N.
