Title
Eucalyptus, Santa Barbara National Forest. Santa Barbara plantation of eucalyptus, 1911, in Santa Inez Valley, Santa Barbara County, California. Eucalyptus sideroxylon in foreground; Eucalyptus viminalis in background. Both have been frozen back badly. The viminalis is about 3'' in diameter and 30-35 feet high. The sideroxylon is only a scrub. Map of the plantation in the forest office, Santa Barbara.
