Title
Feather River Experiment Station, Plumas County. Transplant beds raised one above another because of slope. These beds have to be pulverized and mixed with sand as they are of too heavy clay composition. This costs $5.00 for each bed to mix to depth of 12". Beds 4' x 36'. Capacity about 2,000 transplants to the bed.
