Title
Seed beds in the Pacific Lumber Company, nursery supports for shade frames are of 2x4 Douglas fir and the amount used is approximately 100 board feet per 48 lineal feet of bed at a cost of $2.00 in place. The lath frames are 8'x4' cost 48 cents each for labor and materials unpainted. Fence shown in the background using three strands barbed wire and one 1"x6" No. 3 board as a protection to cattle costs $1.80 per rod set up.
