Title
A good specimen of California Nutmeg (Torreya californica) below the road along the Merced River just inside the Yosemite Park Boundary. Several hundred trees of this species are growing between the boundary and Wild Cat Creek and many of them are producing a heavy crop of seed in 1925. Elevation about 2500 ft. Oregon Maple and Canyon Oak in picture.
