Beside road about 4 miles SE of Mt. Shasta City. Unstocked (under 5%) area of commercial chaparral consisting mainly of Arctostaphylos patula, with some Prunus demissa. Commercial conifers in background are Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and Incense cedar. Soil: 3-4' deep, somewhat rocky. Site 125-150.
