Looking SE at open chaparral type in area affected by smelter fumes. Arctostaphylos viscida, Rhus diversiloba and Ceanothus cuneatus are dominants. Type contains scattered Douglas oak and Digger pine with occasional black oak, interior live oak, Rhamnus californica and Ceanothus tomentosa.
