Looking NE from point near 10 mile house at chaparral area. Dominant species are Quercus dumosa, Ceanothus cuneatus, Quercus wislizenii frutescens, Umbellularia californica and Arctostaphylos viscida; occasional Garry fremontii. Note black oak in ravines where soil is deeper and digger pines on shallow soil areas.
