Plot # 46 on north slope one mile north of Rough and Ready. Ponderosa pine type with Rhus diversiloba and Arctostaphylos coming in with opening up of canopy. Large chaparral of A. viscida, Ceanothus cuneatus outside canopy may indicate that shade kills out the chaparral.
