South slopes at headwaters of Bear Canyon. Shows mixed chaparral type Quercus dumosa, Quercus wislizenii and Quercus chrysolepis, Arctostaphylos tomentosa and Ceanothus divaricatus. Also barren and semibarren areas and fingers of bigcone spruce.
