About 6.5 miles north of Yreka on Hwy. 99. Noncommercial area with chaparral slopes of Ceanothus cuneatus. East facing slope heaily grazed as indicated by bare ground and scant grass. Few scattered junipers and Garry oaks on slope and two small stunted ponderosa pines.
